I recently received a copy of a new cocktail recipe book that I absolutely love! It's called Essential 3-Ingredient Cocktails by Amy Traynor. I discovered her on Instagram, and if you love cocktails, I recommend you follow her @moodymixologist. This recipe is from her book. The combination of tequila and dry vermouth is unusual, but it really works!
2 oz. tequila (I used Cazadores Reposado here)
1 oz. French dry vermouth (I used Dolin)
1/2 oz. triple sec (I used Cointreau)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill 3/4 full with ice and shake to chill. Strain into coupe glass and garnish with expressed lemon peel. ("Expressed" just means you twist it over the glass first. It will expel tiny droplets of citrus oils into your drink.)
Note: I'm not an affiliate for Amazon or Amy Traynor, so if you buy the book, I don't benefit in any way. I just really like it!
